353: FOUNDING FATHER JAMES MONROE COMES TO LIFE ON OUR YOUTUBE SHOW

I know what you’re going to say – “HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEORGE WASHINGTON!” Well, on this February 22, 2026, you took the words right out of my mouth. And let me tell you something else – there’s no better way to celebrate the birthday of a President than to watch our YouTube show about the life of James Monroe, our 5th President.

This show, called ‘Jefferson’s Salute to James Monroe‘ is the fifth episode on our YouTube series called Through the Eyes of Jefferson, which is the same name as this blog. If everything goes well and goes according to schedule, my photographer will attempt to record and publish a show focusing on the life of all 45 Presidents.

Thus far, our show has gotten off to a slow start on YouTube. While our blog has gained steam this year, and we can’t thank our domestic and foreign supporters enough, we hope those same folks will click on the link below and enjoy our shows about the Presidents. And when you watch an episode, please hit the like button, and leave a comment. You might have to sign-in to YouTube to do this, but your effort will certainly help us out.

Thank you again for your support with this blog – we’ve already eclipsed our highest number of views in a single year, and it’s only the third week of February. Next up on our YouTube channel will be a show about the life of John Quincy Adams. Stay tuned for the release, which will likely be February 23rd. What a way to celebrate AMERICA 250!

Thomas Watson

My name is Thomas Watson and I've been a U.S. history fanatic since I was 9 years old. In 2013, I decided to take my passion to the next level when I purchased a Thomas Jefferson bobble head with the sole intention of photographing that bobble head at Presidential sites. From that first day on July 10, 2013 at Spiegel Grove in Fremont, Ohio, this journey has taken on a life of its own. Now, nearly 40,000 miles later, I thought it was time to share the experiences, stories, and photos of Jefferson's travels. Keep in mind, this entire venture has been done with the deepest respect for the men who held the office as our President; no matter what their political affiliations, personal ambitions, or public scandals may have been. This blog is intended to be a true tribute to the Presidents of the United States and this story will be told Through the Eyes of Jefferson. I hope you enjoy the ride!
