220: WHERE IN THE WORLD AM I HEADED NEXT?

Since my last trip, I’ve spent a lot of my time hanging out with some of my friends where we discussed potential future Presidential sites for me to visit.

It’s been exactly three months since my photographer and I returned home from our last trip that took us into the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, through most of Minnesota, and into parts of Iowa. During that time, I haven’t just stood around wiggling my head like most of my friends have. Instead, I’ve spent some time at GBS Media Studio in Port Huron, Michigan where Tom and I recorded several episodes of our show ‘Hail to the Chief’. You will find three links to the last few episodes below – they’re shows that featured Presidents Grover Cleveland, Benjamin Harrison, and William McKinley. Please click on those links and check out our shows.

I have never before travelled in the month of November; but that’s about to change. On Thanksgiving Day 2022, my photographer and his wife will take me on a four-day adventure into Ohio where I’ll make a triumphant return to some Presidential sites I had visited in the past. But there’s also a handful of sites on our agenda that I haven’t yet had the honor of visiting and I’m very excited to see those as well. Fourteen of our 45 different Presidents will be represented on this trip. I’m looking forward to sharing those sites, as well as our entire adventure, with all of you.

In the meantime, please click on the links below and watch my photographer and me in action. I’m the short, good-looking one! As always, please share our show, and this blog, with your friends on social media. If the links don’t work, you can find the shows at bluewaterhealthyliving.com and search for ‘Hail to the Chief’ in the Entertainment section.

Thomas Watson

My name is Thomas Watson and I've been a U.S. history fanatic since I was 9 years old. In 2013, I decided to take my passion to the next level when I purchased a Thomas Jefferson bobble head with the sole intention of photographing that bobble head at Presidential sites. From that first day on July 10, 2013 at Spiegel Grove in Fremont, Ohio, this journey has taken on a life of its own. Now, nearly 40,000 miles later, I thought it was time to share the experiences, stories, and photos of Jefferson's travels. Keep in mind, this entire venture has been done with the deepest respect for the men who held the office as our President; no matter what their political affiliations, personal ambitions, or public scandals may have been. This blog is intended to be a true tribute to the Presidents of the United States and this story will be told Through the Eyes of Jefferson. I hope you enjoy the ride!
