176: W.H. HARRISON FEATURED ON MY SHOW ‘HAIL TO THE CHIEF’

Yesterday, February 5, 2022, I returned home from my ‘Winter Dance Party Tour’ where I visited several sites and saw a concert associated with the 1959 Winter Dance Party. During my five-day adventure that took me 1,376 miles through Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin, I also had the honor to see a handful of Presidential sites as well, including Abraham Lincoln’s deathbed and Barack Obama’s Hyde Park home. Perhaps the most fun I had, however, was on February 2nd during the 2022 Groundhog Day celebration in Woodstock, Illinois where I visited numerous sites used in the 1992 movie Groundhog Day on Groundhog Day.

On February 3rd, which was “The Day the Music Died”, the latest episode of my show ‘Hail to the Chief’ was posted at bluewaterhealthyliving.com. In that episode, my photographer and I paid tribute to our 9th President William Henry Harrison. Please click on the link below to watch the Harrison episode, which lasted nearly as long as his Presidency. If the link doesn’t work, check out the episode at the website above and search in the ‘Entertainment’ section.

As always, my photographer and I ask everyone who reads this post to share this blog and our ‘Hail to the Chief’ show on social media. Your efforts help our audience grow and helps us keep history alive in a fun way. And the best part of all – IT’S ALL FREE! Also, we love to read your comments; please leave your comments and smash the ‘Like’ button. In about a week or so, the first post from our latest adventure will go “Live” in this blog. Once posted, you’ll discover whether or not I saw my shadow!

Thomas Watson

My name is Thomas Watson and I've been a U.S. history fanatic since I was 9 years old. In 2013, I decided to take my passion to the next level when I purchased a Thomas Jefferson bobble head with the sole intention of photographing that bobble head at Presidential sites. From that first day on July 10, 2013 at Spiegel Grove in Fremont, Ohio, this journey has taken on a life of its own. Now, nearly 40,000 miles later, I thought it was time to share the experiences, stories, and photos of Jefferson's travels. Keep in mind, this entire venture has been done with the deepest respect for the men who held the office as our President; no matter what their political affiliations, personal ambitions, or public scandals may have been. This blog is intended to be a true tribute to the Presidents of the United States and this story will be told Through the Eyes of Jefferson. I hope you enjoy the ride!
